Comic Relief is back once again, as celebrities and communities have been spending the last few weeks raising money for important causes around the UK and the world.

"The money raised for Red Nose Day could help to put food on plates and roofs over heads, keep little ones safe and help support families affected by conflict and climate change,” explains Comic Relief.

It added: “It’s never felt more important to come together to support people in the UK and around the world that are struggling.”

There have been many celebrities taking part in challenges this year to raise money ahead of Red Nose Day, including Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies, TV presenter Vicky Pattison, former Lioness Alex Scott and previous Love Island host Laura Whitmore.

The four famous faces took part in ‘Snow Going Back: Comic Relief vs. The Arctic’ as they trekked, cross-country skied and cycled from the edge of the “unforgiving” Arctic Circle to the finish line 50km away.

Elsewhere, The Saturday’s singer and BBC Radio 1 presenter Mollie King set off on a mammoth bike ride on Monday (March 11) cycling 500km from London to Hull.

But this week will see the return of Red Nose Day 2024 on TV, here’s what to expect and what time it’s on.

When is Red Nose Day 2024 on TV?

Red Nose Day will be broadcast live from its home at Media City UK, Salford, on Friday, March 15, starting at 7pm across BBC One, BBC Two, and BBC iPlayer.

Comic Relief explains: “The epic three-hour fundraising favourite will entertain the nation with hilarious sketches, live performances, big surprises, and stunning music acts, whilst raising much-needed cash for good causes at home and across the world.”
