When did your spa open?
In 2000 but we made a large investment in 2013 and that’s when the spa as we know it today was born.
What makes it special?
The multi-award-winning Woodland Spa is located at the end of a winding lane, in the heart of beautiful Lancashire, and is surrounded by green fields. I think this is where the journey to true relaxation begins. Our more traditional thermal adventures are complemented by unrivalled and unique luxurious experiences such as the Serenity Pool. Our facilities have been designed to ensure your utmost comfort and relaxation. We’ve also got a significant outdoor spa terrace with its own microclimate: the heat from our many outdoor pools and hot spas re-radiates to create a relaxing warmth in the ambient air.

Our signature treatments have been crafted by the spa therapists so you can only expect to find them here. They are heaven and deliver beautiful skin and ultimate relaxation.
Are there any new developments, or plans?
As a company, we pride ourselves on maintaining and improving facilities across the resort to ensure they are the best in class. Having just completed a £2 million project in our health and leisure club, we are now continuing with our development works and a new entrance for spa guests.
Do you offer accommodation?
Our resort also features a luxurious hotel with 76 stylish bedrooms and suites. Guests who wake early have a good chance of seeing the deer which roam our 40 acres of private parkland. It’s perfect to take a stroll and enjoy the spectacular uninterrupted views over Pendle Hill and the surrounding countryside.
What is the food and drink offer?
Our chef has embraced our passion for exquisite freshly prepared and beautifully presented food in our award-winning, critically acclaimed spa restaurant. Or, for a casual dining experience, guests may choose to enjoy tapas in the Terrace Bar.
