A night of Congolese music, rhythm and culture will take centre stage as part of Nailsea’s Black History Month celebrations.
Kasaï Masaï, a London-based group led by Voodoo King Nickens Nkoso, will perform at Nailsea Tithe Barn on Saturday, October 31, bringing their trademark blend of traditional Central African sounds with a contemporary urban twist.
The event is a collaboration between Nailsea Folk Club and Nailsea Town Council.
Tickets are priced at £16 and can be booked online at ticketsource.com/booking/select/rmzjqxwladvb.
David Francis, trustee of Nailsea Tithe Barn Trust and organiser of Nailsea Folk Club, said: "We are delighted to host this Black History Month event in Nailsea with the high energy, Congolese fun, infectious rhythms and charisma of Kasai Masali.
"The Folk Club has built a strong reputation for bringing world-class artists to our community, and this show promises to be a truly special evening.
"We always welcome new members and audiences to join us in celebrating music, heritage and culture."
Black History Month UK runs throughout October, and the 2026 theme is ‘Honouring Our Communities,’ focusing on everyday individuals who make vital contributions to Black British life.
