A new two-part series on BBC Four sees two familiar faces explore some the most picturesque walking spots in Yorkshire.

The first installment of the series sees the Dragons’ Den entrepreneur Sara Davies reveal the unexpected impact of participating in Strictly Come Dancing and reflects on motherhood and a busy life.

She visits the Swinton Estate in North Yorkshire, within the Nidderdale AONB. 

The 2,000 acre estate is includes Swinton Park, the former seat of the Earls of Swinton, the Cunliffe-Lister family, who still own the Grade II listed house which is now a luxury hotel and spa.

While exploring the estate, Sarah navigates through pastures, villages and bluebell woods and also visits a church where Sara reflects on communities bound together by faith.

In the second and final part of this short series, we see comedian and actor Nina Wadia explore a popular walking destination in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Swaledale is what many would class as the quintessential walking terrain of rural England, with rolling green hills and fields and cascasding waterfalls along the the River Swale and the iconic drystone walls marking out the landscape.

Nina visits the picturesque Muker Hay Meadows, which are resplendent with all types of blooms in the early summer, including the yellow fields that become a sea of buttercups.

She also takes a walk along the River Swale to Keld, while searching for some rare bird species that are native to the local area.

The new two-part series will start on Monday 6th February and Tuesday 7th February on BBC Four at 7.30pm. It will also be available on BBC Iplayer shortly after broadcast
