Kent Life columnist Andy Garland chaired a Gardeners’ Question Time-style evening with a panel of Kent’s top gardeners
Gardeners’ Question Time, hosted by the Rural Business Group, which meets at Hadlow College, drew an audience from various parts of the county to the evening event held at the Animal Management Unit. Question Master was Andy Garland, presenter of BBC Radio Kent’s award-winning Sunday gardening programme (see also page 23). The panel consisted of Cory Furness, head gardener Penshurst Place, Alex Rennie, head gardener Hadlow College, Steve Edney, head gardener The Salutation and college lecturers David Carey and Caroline Jackson.
