The infamous Witch of Wookey Hole Caves is on the hunt for man, wizard or warlock and she will stop at nothing to get him!The famous witch, who lives deep within the caves in Somerset, said: “Halloween is coming up and it’s a really big celebration for us witches. The witching hour is our favourite time of year where we all go out and have a good time, but I’ve got no one to take.
“The caves are where the magic happens but some people are afraid to come back, it can be a real problem in a relationship. My previous boyfriend Merlin was ok but he was just too goody goody; I want someone a bit more rough around the edges and they definitely need to be younger this time. My ideal man would be someone like Voldermort, but a bit less evil.“I’ve been looking on dating websites and I’ve even written my own lonely hearts advert and posted a video but nobody has cast a spell on me so far. If this appeal doesn’t work I’m going to have to resort to making a love potion.”
The legendary witch’s advertisement can be found on Plenty of Witch.com. It reads:
S/W/F (single, witch, female) WLTM (would like to meet) a man, wizard or warlock for fun, friendship and frolics. Must like black cats, scaring people and damp holes. A good wand is essential. I’m young, attractive and looking for someone to sprinkle some magic in my life.
Daniel Medley, director at Wookey Hole Caves said: “I can’t wait for the witch to find someone. She’s been moping around for weeks now and I’m a bit afraid she’s going to cast a spell on any poor unsuspecting chap looking around the caves. I’m urging potential suitors to get in touch.”Wookey Hole Caves were formed by rain from the Mendips carving out caverns in the limestone thousands of years ago. The Wookey Hole witch has been there ever since spooking and delighting visitors to the caves.She continued: “When all the visitors leave at night the caves are a very lonely place. I don’t want to be rattling around here on my own anymore; I’d really like a partner in crime.”
