There will be a range of exciting events happening every week from July 25 to August 29 from bug hunting, making a home for a wild animal, cooking on a camp fire and snail racing. All events will be happening in the setting of Woodchester Park, with its five lakes and lost historical landscaped gardens, recently awarded a Certificate of Excellence by Trip Advisor.

As part of this year’s ‘50 Things to do before you’re 11¾’ campaign, the National Trust in the South West is putting on 500 events and drop-in activities over the school holidays, with many things available daily to encourage families to experience nature. Wild Woodchester events are the perfect opportunity to tick-off a few from the list and there will be rangers to help with the fun.

As well as enjoying den building and climbing trees, Woodchester Park is also the perfect setting for visitors to enjoy a picnic and a relaxing walk.
