Head down to The Convent, near Stroud, to catch award-winning acoustic singer songwriter Kelly Oliver in performance. Inspired by the harmonica style of Bob Dylan, Kelly is a guitarist who also accompanies herself on harmonica and is set to enchant the public with her ‘beautiful, new music’, according to Bob Harris from BBC Radio 2.

The Hertfordshire-based songstress has been gaining more BBC Radio 2 play on The Folk Show and Bob Harris’s Sunday show as well as BBC 6 Music. Her most recent single Same World/ Rio - a double A side - is released 25 September. Both tracks have seen airplay from BBC Radio 2 or BBC 6 Music recently.

Opening this special evening for Kelly is Folkstock Records label mate, Daria Kulesh, who is no stranger to rave reviews and radio play. Daria brings her blend of Russian drama and rich experiences into her song writing and accompanies herself with guitar, bodhran and shruti box.

Venue: The Convent, South Woodchester, Gloucestershire, GL5 5HS Doors: 8-11pm. Tickets for the live gig can be purchased here or watch the live stream.
