Cowboys were among those who enjoyed the fun at the third RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) Festival at Overwater Marina, at Audlem.

A weekend of festivities included a Wild West re-enactment from the Lincoln County Regulators and Irish dancing from the Fraser School in Crewe.

Cheshire Fire, Cheshire Police and the North West Police Underwater Search and Marine Unit staged displays and demonstrations. There was plenty of water fun too, with the annual raft race, the Saturn historic narrow boat and boat trips on Audlem Lass. Just under £4,000 was raised, and all proceeds go to the RNLI.

Rodney Cottrell, event organiser said: ‘I am absolutely delighted that over the last few years the Audlem Lass Boat Service has raised over £16,000 for the RNLI and we look forward to raising even more at next year’s exciting event.’
