Prior to the launch of the new company ‘Vintage and Architectural’, Masco Architectural have decided to hold an auction on the October 18 to sell the items which they have collected over the years which are not part of the new focus of the business.
The auction, held by Wellers Auctioneers at the old Masco Architectural site in Stroud, will include fireplaces, vintage interiors (including furniture), doors and general architectural and garden items.
There will be a number of star items including a pair of substantial hand-forged decorative gates - formerly of No.1 Oxford Street London, a refurbished 1940’s Showman’s wagon as seen on George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, two original complete French panelled rooms removed from a large house overlooking Hyde Park.
The new look showrooms for ‘Vintage and Architectural’ will be open on the day of the auction and stock will be available to be purchased. The signage will change to Vintage & Architectural following the auction to reflect the change.
