Local showroom wins Bang & Olufsen’s impressive retailer award thanks to going the extra mile in 2013

Bang & Olufsen of Brighton & Hove has been confirmed as the 2013-2014 winner for the prestigious ‘Dealer of the Year’ award for the UK & Ireland. Bang & Olufsen takes this opportunity each year to recognise performance excellence and reward outstanding commitment, so it is a great achievement for this local showroom.

Taking a look back at the past 12 months, a team of judges selected from the corporate management team evaluate the achievements of each showroom in the UK and create a shortlist thanks to various selection criteria. These shortlisted candidates for the award each lit the path for others to follow, and are truly deserving of this recognition through these nominations. For this particular award, the judging panel looked at customer satisfaction, sales performance, the look and feel of the showroom and how it handled key product launches in 2013-2014.

Announced at the annual partner meeting in Birmingham, this award was collected by the Dealer Principal Michael Sparkes (pictured) and brought back to Brighton & Hove to his team. The Flagship showroom at 56 Church Road in Hove displays the latest in home entertainment and home automation systems, and currently showcases the recently launched BeoVision Avant in 55” and 85”.

Since the beginning of Bang & Olufsen in 1925, it has focused on providing unmatched customer experiences through a distinctive range of high-quality products and a dedicated retail network. The Dealer of the Year award, which started in the UK in 2000, is handed to the showroom that upholds these values and helps Bang & Olufsen on its mission to provide unrivalled customer experiences in-store.
