Liverpool-based Carolyn Hughes PR hosted its fifth annual charity lunch at Gusto at Albert Dock.

The glamorous fun-filled lunch celebrated with guests including designer Philip Armstrong, Tony Burke, Coleen Rooney, Nicola Carragher and Laura Warnock.

Guests enjoyed champagne on arrival followed by a festive lunch. The occasion was hosted by Radio City’s Rick Houghton and Simon Ross and the entertainment included spoofs from Big Entertainments ‘Singing Waiters’ who, dressed as a policeman and a waiter, arrested an unsuspecting guest before bursting into a rousing set to get the party started.

Ashley Morgan joined a Robbie Williams lookalike singer to duet as Kylie Minogue on the hit track ‘Kids’. The event has become one of Liverpool’s ‘must attend’ functions in the festive calendar and this year over £13,000 was raised for Cash for Kids and Wirral Witches (supporting Claire House), with match funding from Barclays.

Carolyn Hughes, CHPR said: ‘This year’s event sold out in two days and I am grateful that we can have so much fun and raise such a fantastic sum of money for two amazing charities.’
