After a planned winding down of the local Friends of the Earth group, Fabiola Partyka and Yolande King decided to revive the group by inviting you to their re-launch party taking place at the Swan on the 1st of October.
Yolanda said: “Our main focus for the group initially is the bees. Quite simply, if we do not have bees, we do not have mees. Both Fabiola and I are really excited to BEE INVOLVED in this crucial plight of our bee population and our aim is to bring awareness, engagement and lots of fun to this worthy cause.”
The party will provide an opportunity to learn some interesting facts about our buzzing little friends, and there will be a local honey tasting competition, The Swan have designed a bespoke BEE cocktail and there will even be a local celebrity supporting the cause. Early birds will be given a free glass of wine.
