The previously cancelled festival has resurfaced for a one-day online festival that music lovers can enjoy from home

Many were left disappointed when the Cheltenham Jazz Festival was cancelled due to COVID-19 but it has just been announced that a one-day non-stop online festival will be streamed on the festival’s YouTube channel on Saturday 9th May.

Sets on the day will be performed by the likes of Imelda May, Nitin Sawhney, Laura Jurd, Chris Mapp, Stillefelt, Electric Lady Big Band, The TC Quartet ft Denny Ilett, Roachford, Shlomo, Rosie Tee and Amahla.

Sessions filmed backstage at previous iterations of the festival will also be streamed with a curated mix of talented and exciting musicians.

Jamie Cullum will be on Radio 2 with highlights from the past 10 years of Cheltenham Jazz Festival.
