Eastbourne & District Mencap is hosting its first charity dog show at its residential home, 27 Arundel Road on Saturday 25 July.
The event, from 11am to 4pm has already attracted sponsors to include Cobie VetCare, Eastbourne’s new veterinary clinic, JD Pets grooming and Smart Mutts training.
There are eight classes to enter for £1 each, as well as entertainment for all the family, BBQ and refreshments.
“We’re really excited about the dog show”, says manager Fran Reed.
“It’s going to be a fantastic fun day and will hopefully raise some much needed funds towards the purchase of new flooring for our home.”
