King Charles III is set to appear at Malvern Theatres from Monday 2nd to Saturday 7th November.
Robert Powell takes on the role of King Charles, alongside Penelope Beaumont, Jennifer Bryden, Richard Glaves, Dominic Jephcott, Lucy Phelps, Ben Righton, Giles Taylor, Parth Thakerar, Tim Treloar, Beatrice Walker and Paul Westwood.
Directed by the Almeida Theatre’s artistic director Rupert Goold with Whitney Mosery, King Charles III is designed by Tom Scutt, with music composed by Jocelyn Pook, lighting by Jon Clark and sound by Paul Arditti. This year King Charles III has been awarded the Olivier Award, Critics’ Choice and South Bank Sky Arts Award for Best New Play.
Mike Bartlett’s play explores the people underneath the crowns, the unwritten rules of our democracy, and the conscience of Britain’s most famous family.
