Fashionistas at King’s School, Macclesfield, danced their way down Hollywood Boulevard for their record breaking fashion show, A Night at the Oscars.

The event, organised by sixth form students Jennifer Johnson and Sophie Hancock, raised over £7,000 for The Christie Hospital. Over 50 young men and women danced to popular songs from Oscar-winning films while modelling clothing from leading fashion retailers Boohoo and Glamorous.

Jennifer, 18, said: ‘We’ve all been touched by cancer in some way, even people of our age, and we wanted to raise awareness along with as much money as possible.’
