End of an era for pupils

King’s School sixth formers celebrated the end of an era with a glamorous dinner dance at Hilltop Country House Hotel in Prestbury. After completing their A2 examinations at the Macclesfield school, the young men and women are now happily preparing to go to university or enter the world of work, yet sad to be parting from their lifelong friends.

The King’s School Principal of Sixth Form, Dr Julie Cocker, said: ‘This is a red letter day in the school’s calendar when staff and students celebrate all the achievements of the past two years and share memories of their school life.’
