Acting on behalf of Rego Developments, VSL & Partners has sold the remaining 2.1 acres on Network Oxford Trade Park development to Kier Trade City LLP which is proposing to speculatively develop a new nine-unit trade scheme offering trade units from 3-5,000 sq ft.

Andrew Stothard, development manager for Kier Property said: “Kier Trade City is pleased to announce the purchase of Network Oxford to add to our growing Trade City portfolio. Oxford has huge potential and being able to acquire a site of this nature in this industrial location is an exciting prospect for speculative development.”

Duncan May, associate director at VSL & Partners added: “This will provide much needed supply to the Oxford area and would be the first speculative industrial scheme in Oxfordshire in the last decade.”

The Network Oxford Trade Estate is located on the East side of Oxford, 200 yards from the Ring Road. VSL & Partners let 20,000 sq ft on Phase 1 of the successful development to tool hire company Speedy Hire and a further 20,000 sq ft on Phase 2 to builder’s merchants to Travis Perkins.
