Around 100 graduates from the Bsc Adult Nursing, Bsc Child Nursing and Bsc Mental Health Nursing courses at the Liverpool John Moores University celebrated the end of their studies with a stylish black tie ball.

Ten of their university lecturers also joined in the fun at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Liverpool city centre.

Guests enjoyed a red carpet entrance followed by a drinks reception and three course dinner in the Kings Suite, decorated in silver and blue for the occasion.

One of the organisers, Charlotte Emerson, from Hazel Grove, said: ‘The night was a great success and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed it. It was a lovely way to celebrate qualifying as nurses.’
