The Marina Dalglish Appeal’s annual charity ball returned for another year and another spectacular event.

More than 390 guests arrived to the sound of an accordionist and violinist before being treated to a dazzling evening of entertainment Swanband, who flew in from Geneva. Britain's best speed painter Dave Sharp captivated the room with live portraits of Sir Kenny Dalglish and Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp, and guests tucked into a delicious Venetian-inspired three-course meal prepared by Knowsley Hall's head chef, Paul Macnish, before pizza at midnight. An auction and raffle raised almost £500,000 for the Marina Dalglish Appeal, which works to help cancer patients and continuing to support the expansion of Larks, a breast cancer support centre founded by Lady Marina Dalglish and her daughter Lauren in 2016.
