This award is open to nominations for a company or individual who regularly goes above and beyond the call of duty to make Cirencester a better place for all. This person or business celebrates and promotes this fantastic town and works hard to bring people into Cirencester. Last Years Winner 2015
Tom Wharton of Barrington Ayre was the winner of the Cotswold Life Cirencester Ambassador of the Year 2015 and simply scooped the title simply because he really is a Global ambassador for the town. In the last year alone, he has taken his fine tailoring skills and the name of Cirencester to BBC Radio One, to India and Australia, where his clothes are worn by the likes of broadcasters David Lloyd and Michael Vaughan. He is part of watch maker TW Steel’s international marketing campaign for Slim Line watches, picked over the tailors of Savile Row, putting a Cirencester business on the map.
