A champagne arrival welcomed 74 Cheshire ladies to the first Inspire to Outstand Ladies’ charity lunch, held at the Chester Grosvenor Hotel, in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

A delicious two-course lunch was served and the ladies were entertained by comedian Nina Gilligan. The event was supported by its platinum sponsor ChloBo, a jewellery designer who designed a bespoke stack of five silver bracelets for each table, as well as DD Clinical Chester, which donated some fantastic prizes for the charity auction. A painting inspired by the event, by Chester’s own Jo Gough, was sold, alongside other prizes including a stay at the Grousemoor boutique hotel in Llandegla. Organisers Tracey Jones and Sheila Smith said they were thrilled the event raised £9,000.
