Lancet Homes launch Mere’s Edge, Helsby and Inspired Villages showcase a new retirement village in Tattenhall.

Mere’s Edge phase 2 brings brand new homes to Helsby, with prices from just £160,000

Cheshire-based developer Lancet Homes will launch 50 beautifully designed, brand new homes at Mere’s Edge in Helsby this week, with prices from just £160,000. The developer will mark the launch with a dedicated public sales event on Saturday 30th July

As well as an affordable starting price, Lancet has confirmed that all homes at Mere’s Edge are available through the Help to Buy programme; via which, the Government lends buyers up to 20% of the cost of a new-build home, meaning they need just 5% cash deposit and a 75% mortgage to make up the rest.

Situated in Helsby, Mere’s Edge is a gateway to the North West, less than two miles from the M56 and within walking distance of Helsby station making it an ideal location for commuters to the North West’s major cities of Manchester, Liverpool and Chester.

The first phase of homes sold out immediately, with this new phase offering a further 50, two, three and four bedroom houses – ranging from bungalows, semi-detached, mid-mews and detached properties as well as 12 apartments.

Speaking ahead of the launch, Lancet’s newly appointed sales consultant – and Helsby resident Sue Percival – said: “We are so excited to bring these homes to the people of Helsby.

“I’m a local resident myself as I live less than a mile away from the scheme, so I know that this composition of beautiful, affordable and broad ranging homes is just what Helsby needs.”All new properties at Mere’s Edge are designed to the highest specification, complete with Porcelenosa tiles, luxury kitchens by Magnet, Rocca sanitary ware, Hansgrohe taps and Aqualisa rain showers. There is also the opportunity for buyers to put their personal stamp on their home, with a wide range of specifications and fittings to choose from, including kitchen units, worktops and tiling, plus the option of additional extras such as fitted wardrobes, curtains, blinds and lighting, plus flooring choices including carpets, real wood, laminate or tiles.

To enhance the customer experience in selecting such add-ons, and help customers visualise the composition of their future home, Lancet has also invested in the creation of interactive features in its sales suite. Sue continued: “We know that this is an extremely important purchase for customers and that’s why our sales cabin will allow people to interact with certain materials and layouts so they really can see what their future home will look like.”

Mere’s Edge is a peaceful haven for couples and families to put down roots, or retirees looking for a relaxed pace of life. Helsby village exudes quintessential English rural charm, but with a host of amenities including great schools, shops, restaurants and cafes meaning convenience on the doorstep.

Concluded Sue: “Mere’s Edge really does offer everything a buyer could want from a sympathetic and aesthetically pleasing property – without sacrificing the mod-cons today’s home-owners so often require. Helsby is an aspirational Cheshire village, nestled on the edge of Frodsham, and we’re excited to be launching this second phase and welcoming the new home-owners very soon.”

Inspired show home launches as retirement scheme’s first phase nears completion

Retirees in search of a luxury lifestyle will soon get a glimpse of what Cheshire has to offer, when a show home is unveiled at a new retirement village in Tattenhall.

Opening on 23rd July, the two-bed apartment will showcase the features and furnishings of the properties available in the first phase of the development, which includes 48 luxury apartments and is due to be completed by October 2016.

Its launch follows strong demand for the properties, which has already seen more than 50 per cent reserved.

James Cobb, Sales and Marketing Director at Inspired Villages, said: “We’ve had a really positive response to Inspired Villages in Tattenhall with strong interest in both phase one which completes this Autumn and phase two which will get underway immediately afterwards.”

“Many of those who have reserved are parents of local people who want to stay close to their families in their later years, but enjoy a luxury lifestyle that will cater for both their current and future needs.

“The new show home gives another taster of what’s on offer and demonstrates the quality of the properties available throughout the scheme. Visitors will also be able to view a one-bed, non-furnished apartment to get a feel for the different sizes and how each could accommodate their requirements.”

When completed in 2018, Inspired Villages in Tattenhall will offer the over 65s a total of 151 apartments as well as a range of facilities, including a wellness spa and pool, gym, shop, restaurant, a bowling green, shared community space, and onsite care services.

The show home will be open to the public from 10am on Saturday, July 23rd at Inspired Villages in Tattenhall in Frog Lane (CH3 9DN) with refreshments served throughout the day.

Prices for a two-bed apartment in phase one range from from £259,000 to £558,000. To find out more information, contact village advisers Trish Rooney and Shirley Anderson on 01829 770997.
