Over £6,000 was raised at an inaugural ladies’ lunch at San Carlo, Hale

Fashion, fun and fundraising were all features of the inaugural Lalley Toy Appeal ladies’ lunch, which was held at San Carlo, Hale. The event, attended by 150 ladies, raised over £6,000 for the Lalley Toy Appeal, which was founded by Dee and Chris Drake in Knutsford. The charity provides a sack of toys to under privileged children across Manchester and Cheshire, working through the Lalley Centre in Collyhurst, Manchester.

The Edit and Vanilla of Hale provided clothes for a fashion show after lunch, and Adam Parker Brown kept guests entertained with singing and compering.

Event organiser, Dianne Quinn, was overwhelmed by the support and generosity of the guests and said the appeal are hoping to raise around £15,000 across all the events they have planned.
