The St Ambrose Old Boys’ Association held its annual dinner at the smart new school in Hale Barns,

It was the Association’s 18th annual dinner but only the second held in the impressive new premises on Hale Road.

The dinner, as well as reuniting men who’d been classmates at St Ambrose in years gone by, reintroduced female friends as ‘old girls’ from Loreto joined the occasion this year.

The association was originally established to raise money for the school. The dinner has become a very popular event and always attracts a span of generations of Old Ambrosians.

The association made two donations this time: £250 to the Christie charity and £300 to the school for the 6th form Cricket Tour.
