Spectators have the opportunity to watch teams of horses and riders race across country over grass land and fences at the Cotswold Team Chase, near Andoversford, on Sunday, October 27. This annual event attracts riders from all over the UK competing for a place at the British Team Chase National Finals held next spring.

The event will be raising money for three charities: Riding for the Disabled - which aims to help people with a range of disabilities, Combat Stress – a mental health charity for war veterans, and The County Air Ambulance who provide immediate accident response to hard to reach locations throughout the region and depend on public donations to fund their life saving work.

The day gets underway at 9.00am with a variety of races for spectators to enjoy. The feature event, the Open Class, is a National Team Chase Qualifier, where the premier teams go head to head for a place in the National Finals and takes place at approximately 12. Local businesses have donated special prizes in some classes.

Spectators at the Cotswold Team Chase can walk around the course at their leisure, as well as visit the public hospitality Marquee in the tented village, where they can watch live CCTV coverage of the event. A bar and other refreshments will be available as well as a number of assorted trade stands. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.

Admission is £10 per car, including all occupants.
