The Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company comes to Malvern alongside The New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players for a single week in August with four favourite Gilbert & Sullivan Operettas; The Yeomen of The Guard (August 5 7.30pm), The Pirates of Penzance (August 6 2.30pm & 7.30pm), HMS Pinafore (August 7 7.30pm) and The Mikado (August 8 7.30pm; August 9 2.30pm & 7.30pm)
After 20 years headlining the world-famous International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival, The Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company tours productions that are fun, family friendly and which feature some all-time favourite Gilbert and Sullivan stars including Simon Butteriss, Bruce Graham, Sylvia Clarke and Richard Gauntlett. They will be performing HMS Pinafore and The Mikado.
The New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players are a popular professional touring company from America. In Malvern, they will present The Priates of Penzance and will also open the week with The Yeoman of The Guard, a story of betrayal, intrigue and heart-break with music that many consider to be Sullivan’s finest.
