Let’s talk business
A major charity event ‘It’s The Business’ took place at Panoramic 34 in Liverpool, generating £25,000 for The Prince’s Trust. It was hosted by Radio City presenter Claire Simmo and over 50 guests attended the event, which was sponsored by Artorius Wealth. They enjoyed a champagne reception and a four course meal.
The occasion was an opportunity to meet high-profile business leaders and talk to a panel which this year included Olympic medal winners Beth Tweddle and Steve Parry, CEO of Bike2WorkScheme Derek Hatton and football manager and pundit Peter Reid.
Mike Fletcher, managing partner of Praetura, said: ‘This year’s edition focused on sports and business and it was fantastic to have distinguished panellists from Liverpool who have achieved so much and made such a positive contribution to both. Above all, it was great to see how committed everyone in that room was to supporting disadvantaged young people into training, education or work.’ w
