Guests danced the night away at a charity Valentine Ball, held at the Park Royal Hotel in Stretton. The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace hosted the evening. Their supporters enjoyed a champagne reception before dining in the Royal Suite. Television presener Paul Crone compered the event. Entertainment included local singer Wayne Farrow and fascinating table magic provided by Magicians in Black. Over £11,500 was raised during the evening, boosting funds for the Foundation’s projects.

The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation was set up two years after the 1993 IRA bombing of Warrington, which took the lives of Tim Parry and Johnathan Ball. The Foundation works with UK victims of global terrorism, soldiers and their families and also young people affected by faith and race hate crime.
