The team at Northleach Old Prison, managed by the conservation charity Friends of the Cotswolds, are hosting a series of events this September.
Illustrated talk on the History of Northleach over the past 100 years
Thursday September 11, 1:30 – 2:45pm in the Café.
Led by retired teacher, Enid Sly, who will share her many local anecdotes having lived and worked in this medieval town all her life. Cost = £5 per person, including refreshments.
Spinners & Weavers Monthly Meeting
Friday September 12, 10:30am – 1pm in the Café.
A friendly, enthusiastic, amateur group of spinners and weavers. Please bring along your own wheel, drop spindles, or portable looms if you have any. Drop spindles are available to try or buy. An informal interest group set up to share skills in crafts using yarn, fabric and paper including knitting, crochet, sewing, embroidery, quilting, patchwork, applique, origami, quilling, iris and tea-bag folding.
