Thank Abba For The Music

In 1974 a little known Swedish pop group swept to superstardom with their Eurovision entry, ‘Waterloo’. Forty years later, Abba remain popular as with a reputation as one of the most commercially successful groups in pop music history.

Abba Reunion, at the Roses Theatre on Saturday August 23, is the creation of the Director, Producer and Choreographer of the award-winning Abba Mania Musical, and also stars the original Frida from the London West End cast.

Beatle-mania

On Saturday August 30, Beatle-mania will hit the town of Tewkesbury as The Cavern Beatles present a night of rollicking rock ‘n’ roll dedicated to capturing the feel of Starr, McCartney, Lennon, and Harrison.

During a promotion at Abbey Road Studios in October 1992, The Cavern Beatles were used in a film made in conjunction with Apple to celebrate 30 years since the release of the ‘Love Me Do’ single, and in 2001 the group sang back up for Paul McCartney in New York City.

The Cavern Beatles draw on an extensive repertoire of hits and album tracks to recreate the Fab Four’s influential sound with passion and attention to detail.

Tickets cost £19.50 with concessions available.
