The trip is a 10-day experience starts from Gatwick with an overnight flight to Hanoi, Vietnam where you’ll stay in the five-star Sofitel Legend Metropole for two nights. Dinner at a renowned Hanoi restaurant is included. You’ll enjoy a guided tour of the Ho Chi Minh complex and the beautiful temples of Hanoi plus a theatre production of Hanoi’s famous water puppets.
On day four of your trip you’ll transfer to the coast to board your deluxe Bhaya Junk for an overnight cruise on the UNESCO heritage listed Halong Bay. You’ll cruise the secluded bay area and dock so you can swim and snorkel the clear waters. You’ll also visit a traditional floating market. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are also included.
On day five you’ll transfer back to Hanoi for a night in the Sofitel Legend Metropole and enjoy a last day in this vibrant city before taking an internal flight from Hanoi to Saigon and transfer to the 5 star Park Hyatt hotel for a 3 night stay.
On day seven you’ll have a guided tour of Saigon including the city’s highlights – Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and the post office constructed in the 19th Century by engineer Gustave Eiffel. Before leaving the bustling urban sprawl you and your guest will be whisked off by speed boat down the riverbanks of the Saigon River. At Cu Chi, you’ll learn about this amazing series of underground passages, constructed during the Franco-Viet Minh War, and used by the Viet Cong to fight the US Army and lunch is included.
On your last day enjoy a late checkout and indulge in a lazy morning and a day at leisure before transferring to the airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
