Recently celebrating its 90th anniversary as the go-to place for home furnishings in Derby, Hunters has now added kitchens to its range.
Hunters of Derby, the city’s leading home furnishing retailer, have extended their product range and services to include kitchens and kitchen design, adding to the existing range of home interiors and design services available at the iconic store on Babington Lane.
‘We are really excited to have launched our Neptune Kitchens Department,’ said Nina Sheard, director and interior designer at Hunters. ‘The launch, at our 90th anniversary event in October, went very well and since then Connie, our kitchen designer, has been really busy with lots of interest and consultations. We were all so excited when the first order came through!’
With kitchen designer Connie Sharpe joining the team, Hunters now has the capability to offer a design service for the whole house. ‘We can do the whole thing from consultations and design, layout, all the way through to fitting, if required, the whole process,’ explains Matthew Sheard, director at Hunters and Nina’s husband. ‘Our interior design service is a growing area of the business.’
‘Sometimes people require help because they are short on time and deciding on how you want your home to look can be a little overwhelming. We can help by providing a tailor-made service that makes it as hassle-free as possible,’ said Nina.
‘We offer room plans and colour schemes, we coordinate deliveries and fitting and, if required, we can take away customers old furniture for recycling. Because we have access to the best brands in furniture our customers know they will be getting a premium quality product with a first-rate service. We are so excited to have added Neptune kitchens. They are the perfect complement for our customers who are building extensions or looking at a whole house make-over.
‘Our bespoke curtains and blinds and our accessories sourcing services really add the finishing touches, providing the complete look that a customer would like to achieve.’
‘Our interior design service remains free,’ added Matthew. ‘We think it’s important to offer it as a service for our customers with no obligation whilst providing great value and, of course, all our products are supplied at extremely competitive prices too.’
