A ‘Dickie bow & Diamonds’ ball at Worsley’s Novotel raised in the region of �15,000 for the local mental health charity, Start in Salford.
The event was supported by Downton Abbey actor Rob James-Collier, who was born in Salford. The prize he donated, a visit to the programme set, sold at auction for �2,300.
