Award-winning building contractor, Strategic Team Group, celebrated its 10th anniversary by hosting the Perfect 10 Masquerade Charity Ball at Harewood House, Leeds, and raised more than �32,000 for the Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract, which cares for adults with progressive illnesses and offering specialist respite, terminal and palliative care.

At least 500 guests attended the event compered by Yorkshire rugby legend and British Lion, John Bentley.

The highlight of the evening was the charity auction when guests outbid each other in an attempt to grab some of the ‘money can’t buy’ prizes, which ranged from all expenses paid trip joining the support crew for the world’s toughest endurance bike challenge, Strategic Team Group’s business development director, Charles Tweed said: ‘We are all quite overwhelmed and touched by the generosity of our clients and suppliers.’

Nikki Ridgway, fundraising manager at the Prince of Wales Hospice added: ‘The Perfect 10 Masquerade Ball was an amazing evening, and we were very touched by the fantastic support we received from so many people, a lot of who were new to the hospice.’
