From an historic room built for a king, to a landmark library and a funky cafe, it’s been an exciting time at Culford School

Culford School has seen massive change over the past decade, investing more than £10million in its facilities; and this autumn saw it open a state-of-the art £2.2million library, together with a new Paddy & Scott’s cafe for the sixthform. The school, at Bury St Edmunds, is proud of these new additions to its already impressive array of resources, including a science centre, professional studio theatre, music school, sports centre and championship-standard four-court indoor tennis centre.

The school has also launched a new golf academy, offering children the opportunity to combine a first-rate education with first class golf coaching from PGA professional, Lawrence Dodd. Culford’s bespoke golf scholarships enable children to develop their golf skills, take advantage of new on-site golf facilities and those of four nearby golf courses.

The next development is already underway with the construction of a second Astroturf pitch, a project with Bury Hockey Club, as well as two additional seasonally covered tennis courts. All of these opportunities are now easily accessible to children who live in the Norwich area as the school runs a daily home to school bus service, in addition to full and flexi boarding options.
