Former model Amanda Davies runs Lush Modelling Agency which will this month launch in her home town, Warrington
What do you wear to work?It depends what I have planned. If it's an important meeting, a suit and generally a smart look, if I have a make-up assignment or I'm teaching, I tend to dress a little more trendy and comfortable, I love my lower heeled suede boots. Being only 5' 3" I try to show off my figure and wear fitted clothes rather than baggy jumpers and over sized joggers. What do you like to wear for a big night out?I tend to buy clothes that I feel comfortable and sexy wearing. I would sometimes choose a beautiful fitted top such as the classic 'corset' style showing off my waist and team that with a smart sexy skirt and killer heels. Tell us about your biggest fashion mistakeOh my goodness, I think I have looked hideous over the years. I remember one time walking into Warrington town centre in the 80s in a fitted fish tail skirt teamed with an oversized long white silky blouse and a chunky belt around the waist. I am so pleased I do not have any photographs of that night out.Tell us who your favourite designer is At the moment I am loving Welsh designer, Julian McDonald. His style tends to suit my tiny frame.Who's been the biggest influence on your personal style?Vivienne Westwood and Chanel played a major role in fashion in the 80s and for many years to come. I also love 'power dressing', with the tailored look which is important to me to show off my figure. Even recently I have seen shoulder pads present on the catwalks and in stores.What is your favourite high street shop?I don't have a favourite, but if I were to choose I'd say Debenhams. There's such an array of styles to choose from. Plus they have great sales.Most recent purchase you're thrilled withI love the platform shoes I bought from the high street before Christmas. They make my legs feel much longer than they are.
What perfume do you wear?Coco Chanel has been a favourite of mine.Which hair and beauty products are in your bathroom?Kerastase conditioner and tea tree shampoo.Which beauty product would you be lost without?I could not be without Simple soap. I have sensitive skin and just could not live without it.Are you a gym body?As a trained fitness instructor I think the gym is a structured and successful way of toning up and getting fit. I don't have a great deal of time for the gym, though, so paying a monthly membership would be a waste of money for me. I tend to go power walking, cycling or go to my nearest Zumba class. I love to dance so Zumba is perfect for me.Who do you regard as the most stylish woman of the last 100 years?Actress Audrey Hepburn. As well as being beautiful, Audrey had style, grace and talent. Favourite holiday destination?Ibiza. Beautiful beaches and scenery, great weather and a fantastic nightlife.What was the last book you read?Unfortunately, I don't have the time to sit and read. I envy people who can. However I do refer to my library of Reiki books from time to time. I also do a lot of research and reading from the internet these days.
