Sheffield’s Claremont Private Hospital on Sandygate Road has announced a new and exciting health partnership with Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing Centre, Napier Street

The partnership, by two of Sheffield’s leading healthcare and fitness brands, shows a forward thinking approach to long-term health following surgery.

Patients choosing to have private surgery at Claremont will each receive a free 14 day VIP pass into Nuffield Health’s state-of-the-art Fitness Centre and an exclusive discounted membership rate should they choose to join after the no-obligation free period. Consultants, GPs and Claremont staff are also getting the VIP treatment to promote better fitness by receiving passes and discounted membership.

Andy Davey, Hospital Director at Claremont, said ‘We are delighted to be offering extra to our private patients, doctors and staff. After surgery, patients are keener than ever to get back to full fitness and whilst we provide physiotherapy for as long as necessary, there’s no substitute for taking control of your own health management in the longer term. We want to do our bit to help patients maximise their own recovery and also to support our doctors and staff with their fitness and wellbeing too.’

John McGuiness, General Manager at Nuffield Fitness & Wellbeing Centre, said ‘To be associated with the 60 year reputation for excellence that Claremont is renowned for was a no brainer for us. Claremont want to recommend their patients to the best and we are delighted that they chose us. We want to help people achieve their long term fitness goals and with our Health MOTs, state of the art equipment and highly experienced staff, we are ready to roll out the red carpet to Claremont patients, doctors and staff.’
