Radio Two DJ Chris Evans has a knack for creating excitement wherever he goes. The Warrington-raised celebrity was also joined by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, local racing driver Ollie Webb and other celebrities at the CarFest North at Oulton Park but they weren’t the stars of the show.
The cars were what thrilled the audience of all ages at the weekend spectacular. Chris owns the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang engine, and that along with sports cars, a Pudsey Bear vehicle and vintage models were what drew the crowds.
Particularly eye-catching was a lipstick pink Rolls-Royce, and an amazing aeronautical display.
