Cycling is a great way to stay fit and enjoy the great outdoors, so why not discover it for yourself at the free Sky Ride Ipswich Big Bike Event taking place on Sunday August 31.

The public event forms part of Ipswich Cycling Weekend, which has become a popular fixture in the town’s calendar with hundreds of people taking part.

Ipswich Cycling Weekend will see everyone from families to professional cyclists get on the saddle and ride the streets of Ipswich, beginning with the Crafted Classique Sportive, a 100km or 100mile ride through Suffolk countryside on Saturday.

The Ipswich Cycling Weekend continues on Sunday with the Ipswich Coastal Grand Prix, the final ride of the British Cycling Elite Road Series where the professionals take centre stage. After the pros have set off Sky Ride Ipswich takes over, offering the public an opportunity to get on their bikes.
