TREND ALERT

If the saying ‘blondes have more fun’ is true then you lucky blonde bombshells are all set to have even more fun now L’Oréal Professionnel has revealed its new miracle salon professional colourant – INOA Ultra Blonde. INOA Ultra Blonde is the first-ever ammonia-free high lift blonde colourant which gives up to five levels of lift in one application to achieve a clean, pure and perfectly neutralised blonde – without ammonia. Many of my professional contemporaries attended a launch event recently and, like me, were blown away by the stunning results. The blondes looked amazing; clean, pure, beautiful results which was very exciting to see. It’s just what we’ve all been waiting for; being able to create amazing high-lift blondes without compromising the hairs’ condition. Being ammonia-free means it’s great for scalp comfort and the hair’s condition and shine. Hair feels intensely nourished with sublime shine and condition.

GATHERING MOSS

Another great hair initiative I’ve found this month that’s making a huge noise is Kérastase, who recently celebrated the face of its new ‘Couture Styling’ range with a prestigious VIP event at London’s One Mayfair. Much to everyone’s delight, guest of honour was the new face of Kérastase, iconic muse and celebrity super model Kate Moss.

To get the party started and celebrate this new Kérastase era, eight styling ambassadors presented loads of impressive models, each one created using the new ‘Couture Styling’ products in a lively and entertaining choreographed show.

Hairdresser and Kérastase Creative Director for ‘Couture Styling’, Luigi Murenu, also exposed his unique take on hair styling, explaining how he visualised products in order to create an emotional and artistic signature.

Kate Moss – who completely transcends age and style – attended the after-party which proved to be the highlight of the night and a fitting culmination of Kérastase’s partnership with the universal style icon. Guests were mesmerised by her glamorous allure, which electrified an evening celebrating a whole new era in Kérastase styling!
