Each child is unique – and so is their educational journey.

Whether joining Cheadle Hulme School at the beginning of that journey in our wonderful Reception class, entering the Senior School aged 11, or joining us for the final crucial Sixth Form years, it is the individual child that we see and educate.

Each child is a learner who has their own strengths, skills and talents, as well as those areas where they feel less confident or which they find more demanding. Our job is to foster personal confidence, develop their skills and enable each individual to fulfil their academic potential.

We aim to achieve this through a challenging, dynamic and relevant education which values individual effort, active engagement, collaborative learning and which deepens thinking and communication skills.

The educational journey embraces more than the classroom environment; we believe it is equally about the co-curricular opportunities through which the individual grows and flourishes.

At CHS, we believe that it is our role to provide each child with the skills and opportunities to help them to make the very best of their journey: to challenge them academically, to give them opportunities for personal and social development, leadership and commitment to service, preparing them to be the best that they can be.
