I'm proud of what we've built at Forth Accountancy. In three years, the practice has grown from being just myself to a team of five. Setting up from scratch, securing my practice licence, and growing while maintaining quality has been a huge achievement, especially in a competitive market where trust and reputation are everything.
Our unique strength is that we go beyond the numbers. We provide accountancy that's advisory-led and rooted in valuable industry experience, helping clients make long-term decisions across cashflow, pricing, growth planning, plus operational improvements, in addition to year-end reporting.
A key challenge for 2026 will be delivering consistently excellent customer service while also protecting work/life balance for the team. As an all-female team, we often carry significant caring responsibilities for children or parents, so creating a supportive, flexible workplace while meeting deadlines takes constant planning, empathy and clear communication.
