A stone’s throw from Arlington Row, Eleven Bibury brings together a bakery café, brasserie, Gallery Shop, and three-level private garden terraces, giving visitors and locals alike somewhere lovely to eat, browse, and enjoy the village at a gentler pace.
For 250 years, Bibury has been celebrated as one of the Cotswolds’ best-loved villages. People come from far and wide to wander beside the river, admire the honey-stone cottages, and photograph Arlington Row. But linger a little longer, and there is far more to discover.
Tucked away opposite Arlington Row, across the footbridge over the River Coln, Eleven Bibury is a warm, welcoming bakery café, brasserie, and Gallery Shop. It is a place to settle in, take the weight off your feet, and let the pace of the day slow down.
Food made with real care

Step inside and you will notice how seriously Eleven takes its food. The bakery café and brasserie have their own experienced chefs, preparing everything with care using fine, seasonal ingredients. The bakery produces cakes, pastries, and baked goods on the premises daily, treats that are difficult to walk past.
Whether you call in for our own roasted coffee, settle in for lunch, or stay for a relaxed meal, the food is every bit as important as the setting. The atmosphere is relaxed and inclusive, while everything is served to the highest standards. Summer Lates offer food and drinks into the evening, with parasol heaters and blankets keeping the garden comfortable, while roaring fires make the interior inviting during autumn.
Something lovely to discover

Alongside the food, the Gallery Shop gives visitors another reason to explore. Filled with original art, work from the Makers of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen, and thoughtful, one-of-a-kind retail, it is the sort of place where you go in for a quick look and leave having found something you cannot live without.
Visitors will discover work by ceramicists Toff Milway and Annie Hewett, glass pieces by Colin and Louise Hawkins, and a magical Maileg collection that delights grown-ups and children alike. Eleven also hosts monthly selling exhibitions.
From September 12 to October 11, Eleven presents The Spirit Within, a collection of animal bronzes by Diana Pattenden. A preview evening will be held on September 11; guests can register on the Eleven website.
“We want Eleven to enhance the experience of visiting Bibury. We hope to give people every reason to linger, whether over coffee and cake, a beautifully prepared meal, or a browse in the Gallery Shop. Above all, we want Eleven to feel warm, relaxed, and welcoming to all,” says founder and owner, Lady Anne Evans.
