Pictures from the Osmaston Game & Country Fair 2010
Osmaston Park near Ashbourne was the venue for a traditional Game Fair at the start of July. Arena events to entertain the crowds included falconry, scurry racing and gundog displays. There were plenty of other events to interest dog lovers with lurcher and terriers, a gundog clinic, and even a Fun Dog Show. Displays of work and demonstrations by a range of craftspeople, and a food court packed with speciality food and drink enticed visitors to treat themselves. It was then possible to ‘Have a Go’ at any number of country activities or improve your archery or shooting skills with a tutorial.
