Devon Life Business and Professional brings together Devon’s top business leaders for a third successful event.
On Friday 16 October Devon Life Business and Professional hosted its autumn networking event at Buckfast Abbey. Our vision for the title is to be much more than just a magazine but to bring the Devon business community together to learn, grow and work together so that we can see Devon continue to thrive and punch above its weight in the UK.
Our quarterly networking event is part of this vision and our third event was set to be yet another highlight in the business calendar.
Guests were treated to a delicious two course lunch provided by the highly skilled culinary team at the Abbey’s conference centre. Guests also learned how the Abbey had made developments to ensure it was keeping it “green”.
The pinnacle of the lunch event was guest speaker Catherine Spencer, who captained England’s women’s rugby. Catherine spoke about the highs and lows of rugby and how the core values of the sport has set her up in business today.
We now look forward to the winter edition which is out with the January copy of Devon Life and our next Business and Professional networking event in early 2016.
