Arbuthnot Latham is today holding a dress down day, with all proceeds being donated to The Baton, a charity foundered by local South West resident Alan Rowe MBE.

This is a fantastic charity, aiming to raise awareness about the lives of service personnel and their families, helping to give them the support that they deserve.

The Baton itself has been crafted from the handle of a stretcher; a stretcher used in battle to carry the wounded. The Baton has returned home and now stands as a symbol of those who have paid, and those who are willing to pay the ultimate price with their lives.

The charity was chosen by our South West office who wanted to support and raise money for a local charity. Arbuthnot Latham staff across all regions will partake in the dress down day.

Ian Scott, Head of Wealth Planning and the South West Regional Office said ‘We are proud to be supporting such a worthy cause. It’s great to have the whole business backing a charity not only local to our office, but also a charity that we as a region have pleasure in supporting.’
