FESTIVE SHOWS AT THE LIGHTHOUSE POOLE
Enjoy a Baroque Christmas by Candlelight with In Dulce Jubilo! (Dec 2), The Three Little Pigs (Dec 5 –24) stars Stuff and Nonsense’s raucous problem-solving puppets, Fairytale of New York (Dec10) is the Irish-inspired Christmas show from the West End, and
there’s a mesmerising performance of A Christmas Carol by David Mynne (Dec 19-20), the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra get festive with Handel’s Messiah (Dec 13), Last Night of the Christmas Proms (Dec 16), and the singalong Carols Celebration (Dec 23). 
And CBeebies favourite Chris Jarvis (pictured) stars as Widow Twanky in Aladdin (Dec 7 –31).

FESTIVE SHOWS AT THE DORCHESTER CORN EXCHANGE
In Snow Angel (Dec 8) Charlie Bicknell and Louise Innes combine gloriously dark humour with festive mashups from Frozen to the John Lewis Christmas Ad. Snow Play (Dec 9,11am) is a smash-hit production aimed at younger theatre goers where Winter and Spring fight over who must go away. 
This Christmas (Dec 16 & 17)is a romantic comedy aboutlove in later life. Noël! Noël! is Bournemouth Sinfonietta Choir’s celebration of the Christmas season with uplifting music and readings (Dec 20).

Twisted Christmas from ’Owdyado Theatre features Inside No. 9-style micro-plays such as why you should never turn your back on a panto dame (Dec 1), in direct antithesis is the Best Ever Christmas Show (Dec 15 –24), both at The Minster Theatre, Allendale Centre. 
Cinderella is Made-To-Measure Production’s enchanting family panto at the Tivoli Theatre (Dec 15 – Jan 1).

A CHRISTMAS CAROL AT THE EXCHANGE STURMINSTER
Living Spit bring their ‘alternative’ comic Christmas show to The Exchange on November 30. Hilarious, tender, idiotic and musically virtuosic by turns, Living Spit’s two-man adaptation of A Christmas Carol promises a feast of festive foolery that’ll have you crying with laughter.

Karen G’s Christmas Show of festive songs (Dec 1), Snow Angel festive cabaret (Dec 9) and Santa’s Christmas Wish (Dec 19, 2pm) are all at The Mowlem Theatre. Carols and seasonal music can be heard at Swanage Bandstand on December 13 at 7.30pm.
