Waltham Forest was named the best place to raise a family after ADT collected factors to make the 'family safety score'.

With a family safety score of 7.23 out of 10, the borough had a low rate of burglary and crime rates.

The data from ADT also found that there are a good amount of schools with high Ofsted ratings as well as affordable costs for families.

The North London borough was not the only London area to be named one of the top ten places to live.

Whilst Waltham Forest was praised for its schools, green spaces and low crime rates, it did have some of the highest median house costs, with an average price of £520,000.

Fellow London areas including Havering, Bexley, Bromley, Hillingdon and Hounslow all made the list.
